Headbolt Lane station work – Temporary Extended Working Day

As you will be aware from previous newsletters work is ongoing to construct a new station off Headbolt Lane.

We have committed to only undertake daytime working in the run up to Christmas break however due to recent severe weather conditions, construction of a bridge within the compound has been delayed. This is a critical activity and would impact on key date for Scottish Power to install the station power supply.

Consequently for 4 days between Monday 7th Nov and Thursday 10th November the working day will be extended and run from 07.00am to 20.00pm . We trust this short extension to the working day will not unduly inconvenience people either living in or visiting the area and apologise for the short notice provided on this occasion.

DATE FOR YOUR DIARY : We are arranging for a drop-in event for 21st November (4pm – 7pm) in Kirkby town centre, further details on precise location will be posted in a subsequent newsletter.

For more detail about the project, please visit https://headboltlane.commonplace.is/ or telephone our 24-Hour National Helpline on 03457 11 41 41.
