News on Headbolt Lane Station Kirkby

Thank you for both taking part in our consultation earlier this year for a proposed new rail station at Headbolt Lane and subscribing to receive news updates. We’re delighted to announce Knowsley Council Planning Committee approved the £80m scheme earlier this month, with work set to begin at the site in January 2022 and the opening of the station anticipated for Spring 2023.

A letter is being issued by Network Rail to residents living close to the station site, providing more information details of when works will take place and how we will keep them informed.
