Autumn works update

We recently provided an update about our work and shared our programme of overnight engineering train activity, up until the end of November. We have now amended this, due to achieving key project milestones throughout the summer period, where we have aimed to complete the most impactful pieces of work coinciding with the holiday period.

We apologise that noisy night time activities do extend beyond this period, however we are pleased to inform we're switching all Saturday night engineering train works to Sunday day. We have also prevented any further mid-week overnight engineering train activities for the remainder of 2022, aside from Monday 17 and Tuesday 18 October, where due to availability of critical rail resources our scheduled works must continue as originally planned. Achieving these project milestones has meant that we have more flexibility in our programme and enabled us to minimise disruption where possible. Please be aware, you will still see the team working on site throughout the day and night.

We are grateful for your ongoing patience whilst we construct Headbolt Lane station and will be holding community drop-in events in the future, informing you here when the dates are finalised and where they will be held.
